What would you be if you weren't a GM?

I've always been fascinated by sounds, specifically music in all forms and genres; and was fortunate enough to develop an early carrier in music , as a DJ, playing House & Techno music (usually to an intoxicated crowd) , now that I'm older & little wiser, going back to DJ'ing seems like a far fetched dream but something i would like to pursue in my spare time - obviously with  age appropriate music for a more mature audience. Watch this space :)

If you get one hour to do whatever you like , what would that be ?

Definitely spending quality time with my 9 year old daughter and reminding her that she can start dating when she's 40 (it's a joke!)

Give us a guided tour of your work desk ?

I usually try to keep things as organized as possible; on a typical day my desk consists of my laptop in centre stage accompanied by  2 mobile phones, a notepad full of daily action points, my trusty Montblanc fountain pen & the insperable overly used Nespresso Machine . Chocolates may or may not be served when visiting .

Tell us about a project you are most proud of

Early in my advertising career, I undertook the challenge of revitalizing a globally recognized soft drinks brand, one that had incidentally faced decades-long boycotts. The catch? The task unfolded in Yemen, a unique and challenging market.

Through months of dedicated effort, I spearheaded the development and execution of various on-ground activations, sampling exercises, and both below-the-line (BTL) and above-the-line (ATL) campaigns. Almost single-handedly, the brand ascended to the number one position within a remarkable 10 months, capturing the hearts, minds, and even the appetites of the Yemeni youth. This achievement was particularly noteworthy as we surpassed well-established competitors in the market. This experience taught me a profound lesson: Nothing is impossible as long as you have the drive, attitude knowledge & passion no obstacles can stand in your way. And I have the scars to prove it.
